I am appointed to the Department of Biochemistry and Physiology and the Center for Geroscience and Healthy Brain Aging at OUHSC. I am also the Director of the Animal Model Development and Behavioral Assessment (AMD- BA) CoBRE core, that houses behavioral testing apparati including the PhenoTyper. My expertise in behavioral assessments for in vivo cognitive testing in mouse models (tissue and cell-specific), using primary culture models, and cutting-edge molecular biology techniques facilitates a wholistic approach to address mechanisms underlying the basic biology of aging that increase susceptibility for ADRD.
